Guatemala

Make a hands-on difference in our global community! Join a group of volunteers from across Canada and work alongside local community members on a project chosen and directed by them. There are many different volunteer opportunities available. If you have some knowledge of Spanish, you can assist younger children with their reading skills. If not, you may help small groups of children with computer skills, numbers and crafts, or assist in the construction of needed infrastructure projects, such as the construction of a youth 'safe-house'. No special skills are required.

Guatemala offers a beautiful landscape of lush jungles, rainforests and highlands as well as being a centre of rich Mayan history and culture.
