Two or four-week volunteer trip to Rwanda donated by 
Support a cooperative of female weavers in Rwanda, as you help to build the Covaga Innovation Centre in Gashora. The weavers will use this centre to turn water hyacinth plants into beautiful woven goods to sell both locally and internationally. This volunteer trip is open to ages 16+. Developing World Connections is a Canadian non-profit organization that supports sustainable development projects in Asia, Africa, and the Americas through international volunteer experiences.
This prize includes :
- Pre-trip and in-country orientation
- A dedicated travel agent and trip coordinator
- In-country ground transportation
- All meals and water
- Accommodation
- Services of a trained Team Leader
- Charitable receipts for your flight
The trip does not include the flight; however, your flight costs are 100% tax deductible. Also not included: visa, insurance, immunization if required, medical insurance, extracurricular activities, or personal expenses.
Please note: This trip can be exchanged for a credit towards any other Developing World Connections trip. Your trip must be taken before December 31st, 2014.
