British universities flock to Canada for the Study and Go Abroad Fairs in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver February 29-March 3, 2020

Thirty-five universities from England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales will join universities from all over the world at the Study and Go Abroad Fairs this Spring to meet with Canadian students who are looking for their next step in education.

According to the Higher Education Statistics Agency, almost 8000 Canadians were studying in the UK in 2017/2018, 3245 of whom were studying at postgraduate level, and 4615 at undergraduate level. These numbers have steadily increased over the last few years.

Many students do not consider studying in the UK because they believe it’s too expensive; however there are many scholarships out there that can cover part or all expenses associated with studying in the UK, especially for postgraduate studies. The Education UK website (study-uk.britishcouncil.org/) is a great resource to explore all funding options available.  As well, there are also many other international organizations, specific UK universities and colleges, as well as other voluntary and charitable organizations that offer funding for study abroad that are worth exploring if cost is a concern.

Studying in the UK is better than ever for graduate job prospects, as the UK government has recently announced a new graduate immigration route which allows students to stay and work in the UK at any skill level for two years after graduation from the summer of 2021

Exhibitors at the Study and Go Abroad Fair, many of which rank in the Top 100 universities worldwide, will be showcasing programs in Medicine, Law, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, Business, Technology, Economics, Design, Engineering, and Performing Arts and many other fields.

Exhibitor profiles, scholarship information and seminar schedules for the STUDY AND GO ABROAD FAIR can be found online at www.studyandgoabroad.com. Visitors who pre-register online or register on the day of the event will be entered into the Grand Prize Draw for a chance to win a free flight to anywhere in the world, sponsored by Air Canada.
