The University of Manchester

Established in 1824, the University of Manchester is Britain’s largest single-site university, with a proud history of world firsts. The university is home to over 40,000 students from more than 160 nationalities, and we’re proud to welcome over 15,000 international students to our campus, making us one of the most international universities in the UK.
The university can claim 25 Nobel Prize winners among current staff and students and it’s where graphene was discovered and the atom first split.
Ranked 27th in the world, Manchester has an international reputation for research, the widest range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in the UK, and is the most targeted university by the UK’s Top 100 graduate employers (High Fliers Survey 2020).
