Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic

Masaryk University, founded in 1919, is the second largest university in the Czech Republic and includes nine faculties. The University ranks 571–580th in the Times Higher Education University rankings.

Masaryk University is located in Brno, which was ranked 5th in the top 10 student cities in the world (QS). The Czech Republic was also named the 6th safest country in the world on the Global Peace Index.

The University acknowledges the importance of diversity, and approximately 21% of its 32,000 students are international. As well, the Teiresiás centre helps students with various special needs.
