SCIENCES PO PARIS

Sciences Po is one of France's elite institutions of higher learning. Internationally renowned for its multi-disciplinary education in the Social Sciences, including Economics, Sociology, Law, Political Science, and History, the university was founded in 1872 and has since become one of France's grandes écoles, a group of highly selective institutions sometimes likened to the Ivy League.

Each year, Sciences Po welcomes more North American students than any other post-secondary educational institution in France, dispersed among its seven campuses in Le Havre, Poitier, Dijon, Menton, Nancy, and Paris. While Paris houses all the master’s programs and a generalized undergraduate program, the campuses throughout the country offer specific undergraduate concentrations such as Euro-American Studies in Reims, Asian Studies in Le Havre, and Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Studies in Menton.

English-language tracks are offered on most campuses and the newly created Reims campus, with its English-only undergraduate curriculum, offers a truly Euro-American experience. Students further broaden their horizons by participating in an obligatory study abroad program in their third year at one of Sciences Po’s 350 partner universities around the world. This global approach to learning continues throughout the graduate level, and the world’s top private, public and international organizations consistently recruit Science Po alumni.
